In the Altai Republic opened a criminal case on abuse of office against the former chief of a corrective colony №2. This was reported on the website of the regional Department of the Investigative Committee.

According to investigators, in may 2015, the head of the colony helped one of the leaders of a gang “Sevastopol”, serving a sentence in a correctional facility for robbery and a series of murders. He ordered his subordinates to prepare a positive response to authority, to tell him thanks and to remove the sanctions, although the convict was a malicious violator of the regime.

Investigators believe that all this head of the colony was done in order that the convicted person could be sent to the court the petition for change of the correctional institution. In may 2015, it has happened. Based on falsified positive characteristics, the court transferred the criminal from colony to colony-settlement.

“Sevastopol” was convicted of 20 murders in Kazan in 1992-1996. The leaders of the gang, 48-year-old Rustem Saymanov and 45-year-old Radik Yusupov, was detained in Moscow in 2008. By the time Yusupov became a businessman, and Simanov — the sports Director of football club “Rubin”. In 2011, Simonov received 8.5 years in prison, and Felix is eight.
