The head of the Ukrainian foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba urged citizens “not to entertain illusions” about the negotiations with Russia on supplies of Crimea, informs “Glavred”.
He noted that the discussion of the Crimean question in the “Minsk format” can block progress in resolving the situation in the Donbass. While Kiev “offensive advances” in international negotiations the subject of the affiliation of the Peninsula, assured Kuleba.
He said that Russia may attempt to avoid negotiations on the Crimea, so Ukraine should “establish conditions under which the de-occupation becomes inevitable.” “We should not entertain illusions that Russia will negotiate on this issue. But just the fact that the Russians talk about Crimea as a closed question, indicates that they are forced to constantly emphasize,” — said Kuleba.
Crimea became part of Russia in March 2014 according to the results of the on-Peninsula referendum. Ukraine considers the territory occupied.
