Kamchatka ichthyologists will use the latest developments of Russian scientists to search for fish, preserved from pre-glacial period in ancient lakes of Chukotka. This told the press Secretary of the Kronotsky reserve Maria Vorontsova, reports TASS.
Scientists will use the recorders of temperature and water level, which created a research group from MSU, they will have about 50 devices. The expedition will begin on July 15 and will last about two months, similar detailed studies have not been conducted for almost 30 years. In addition to the classic descriptions of fish, ichthyologists are going to assess the state of ecosystems of local lakes in General and to clarify some issues of adaptation of animals to changing weather conditions.
Earlier it was reported that in the Krasnoyarsk region, specialists of the Ministry of ecology marked reindeer with special collars to track their migration. At the moment, tagged 10 deer living on the territory of the Turukhansk and Evenki districts, and 15 deer on the territory of Taimyr. The Ministry assured that the collars easy to attach and does not injure the animals.
