A resident of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk quarreled with his wife, then blew up one of its owned gas cylinders in the basement of an apartment building. It is reported RIA Novosti with reference to the Governor of the region Valery Limarenko.

Rescuers evacuated from the building of 23 people, including seniors and children. This affected only one person, he was diagnosed with burns to 80 percent of the body. Earlier it was reported that from-for careless handling of gas equipment in one of the Moscow apartments there was a fire. The culprit of the accident died in hospital from his injuries. Muscovite abused alcohol, and at the end of June was discharged from a psychiatric hospital.
