The Ministry of labour has supported the parliamentary bill on the possibility of compensation to the Russians the costs associated with remote work. This is reported by “Izvestia”.
The Agency expressed General support for prepared amendments to the Labour code (TK) that complement it, including provisions on remote work. The bill was developed by group of deputies led by the speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin and the head of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, aimed at protecting the rights of remote workers.
According to the document, workers can negotiate with employers reimbursement of electricity costs, depreciation of a personal computer and other expenses. Items of compensation can be included in an employment contract on remote work, local regulations, etc.
According to the authors of the bill, it must also protect workers on the remote control from full-time work. Deputies plan to legislate such concepts as “the sanctity of leisure time” and “interaction time”.
Earlier in Russia, employers has decided to ban track the location of your employees working on remote. The deputies proposed to make such amendments to the TC, as the concept of remote and combo work. They plan to eliminate the requirement to identify the workplace as one of the terms of the employment agreement on remote work.
