Executive Director of the Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR) Maya Lomidze has named eight foreign countries, which is already ready to accept Russian tourists. She announced this during a briefing in the press center of NSN.
So, according to Lomidze, if based on the principle of reciprocity, at the moment, July 14, for the opening of the borders with Russia, Turkey, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Maldives, Croatia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates.
“These countries are absolute tourist destinations and in high demand on the Russian market”, — said the expert, adding that while traveling in most of them you must obtain a certificate of non-coronavirus.
“It does not mean that we will be able to fly there, but these countries are already prepared to receive the Russians right now. July 16 will be clear, will there be Abkhazia”, — said Lomidze and noted that information on Italy will appear in the course of two days, and for Spain by the end of July.
At the same briefing Maya Lomidze said that the launch of international flights in Russia, which was interrupted due to the introduction on the background of the pandemic coronavirus restrictions, can be held closer to the end of the summer. She stressed that in the near future will be decided on the list of countries with which Russia will begin to recover air.
July 10, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatyana Golikova said that the resumption of international flights in Russia will begin on July 15. From this day the aviation authorities of the state will be to organize negotiations with other countries on the issue of restoration of air links.
