The Russian foreign Ministry explained the inclusion of Tanzania in the list of countries with which air service will be restored in the first place. On Friday, 24 July, reports the Telegram-channel “Rise”.
As explained by a representative of the Ministry Maria Zakharova, recommendations and “peer review” regarding the Tanzania Oberstar gave the foreign Ministry.
Earlier it became known that the list of States with which Russia will resume flights interrupted on the background of the pandemic coronavirus, entered the UK (London), Turkey (from August 1, Ankara and Istanbul, from August 10 — Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman) and Tanzania (Zanzibar).
“This is a tourist route, which was popular among certain categories of our citizens,” — said Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Tatiana Golikova. She also said that arriving in Britain, the Russians will need to pass in the country 14-day quarantine.
Upon arrival in Russia, reminded Golikova, foreign tourists will have to provide a negative test for coronavirus made no later than 72 hours prior to departure. The Russians can go through the procedure for three days already in the country.
On 24 July Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin announced the resumption of international flights from August 1. He noted that at first the flights will be operated from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-don.
