Scientists have proposed to include in the natural Park on the banks of the Ob river, which is planning to create a government of the Novosibirsk region, pine forest Karakansky boron, but in the surrounding areas. It said the chief researcher of the laboratory of ecology and geobotany, Central Siberian Botanical garden SB RAS Nikolay Lasinski, reports the portal “the Future of Russia. National projects”.

Lashinsky explained that the use of surrounding land for agricultural purposes threatens the penetration of pesticides in protected areas. “If we will carefully, carefully guard Karakansky forest, and on adjacent farm land to mass use of fertilizers and pesticides, all this will be washed off in the river Karakan on numerous streams and rivers, and thus poisoned this protected area,” he said.

The concept of “big Karakan” includes an area of about 500 hectares. The area of the Karakansky boron is about 100 hectares, its territory combines belt forests of the Altai and Priobskaya forest.

The creation and development of nature reserves and specially protected natural areas is the task of the Federal project “the Conservation of biological diversity and development of ecological tourism” the national project “Ecology”. The national project is directed on the complex decision of environmental problems of the country. Its implementation will receive four trillion rubles, three of which will receive from investors. It also includes such topics as “protection of lake Baikal”, “Pure air”, “Clean water”, “forest Conservation”, “Introduction of best available technologies” and “Improvement of the Volga.”
