The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has again engaged in conflict on the border of Armenia and Azerbaijan. The head of state discussed the situation with the permanent members of the security Council, told RIA Novosti press-Secretary of Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.
In particular, Putin called on the very sensitive situation on the border in light of the ongoing deterioration of relations between the republics.
Previously on 24 July it was reported that the President of Russia in the course of the operational meeting with permanent members of the security Council, outlined the results of a telephone conversation with his us counterpart Donald trump. During the conversation, the leaders also touched on the theme of world peace.
July 23, the Azerbaijani defense Ministry reported about the shelling on the line of contact in Nagorno-Karabakh. Baku accused Armenia of 47 violations of the ceasefire regime in different directions of the contact line.
The armed conflict between the republics escalated on July 12 — the day the fighting started at the border of the two countries. The parties accused each other of attacks and provocations. According to recent reports, Armenia has lost four soldiers, the Azerbaijani side reported the death of 12 security forces and one civilian.
