The Russian expert has predicted high prices for the tickets after the resumption of international flights on August 1. Their forecasts of the first Vice-President of the Association of tour operators of Russia (ATOR) Vladimir Kantorovich shared with the TV channel “360”.
As noted by Kantorovich, most likely in August, ticket prices will soar due to high demand. “We can hardly expect sales. Last year was the Charter now is just the regular message. It is clear that it is much more expensive,” he said.
The expert added that he did not expect the opening of Tanzania, which is not very popular among tourists, since there “is expensive and far to fly.”
“While we are talking only about Zanzibar. A beach vacation isn’t all that interesting in Tanzania. What on the mainland: animals, Safari, that’s interesting”, — said the representative of ATOR, adding that “to go for a beach holiday in this way is not very justified, when there are the same Turkey.”
On 24 July Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin announced the resumption of international flights from August. He noted that at first the flights will be carried out only from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-don.
Countries with which Russia restores flights in the first place, was the UK (London), Turkey (from August 1, Ankara and Istanbul, from August 10 — Antalya, Bodrum and Dalaman) and Tanzania (Zanzibar island).
