About 6.5 thousand people gathered in Khabarovsk for an unsanctioned rally in support of the former Governor of edge Sergey Furgala. This was reported in the city administration.
It is clarified that in the square before the government of the region gathered about three thousand people, and later during the March they were joined by as many more. The rally was held peacefully.
In the city hall reminded that in the region due to the growth in the number of people infected with coronavirus has a mode of high alert and mass public event is prohibited.
Uncoordinated action because of the arrest of the former head of the region Sergey Furgala held in Khabarovsk from July 11. So, last Saturday, July 18 for a rally in support gathered about 10 thousand people.
Furgala was arrested July 10 on suspicion of attempted murder at the order of two murders. Crimes were committed in 2004-2005 in the territory of the Khabarovsk territory and Amur region. The former head of the region pleaded not guilty and thinks the criminal case against him initiated by “certain officials”.
