Jordan will open the international flights from 5 August. This was announced by the head of the Commission for the regulation of civil aviation Hazen Misto, reports RIA Novosti.
Misto said that the Jordanian airports ready to receive international flights from certain countries to be selected according to the methods of the Department, depending on the epidemiological situation. “From August 5, will flight this certain country and back to Jordan,” he said, without naming specific States.
The local portal Roya had previously published a list of countries with a relatively calm situation for the coronavirus. It includes Canada, China, Georgia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand and more than ten European countries.
Jordan has suspended flights on March 17 due to pandemic coronavirus. For all the time there was recorded in 1154 cases of infection with coronavirus. Of these, 1036 people have recovered, 11 died.
