Missing in a forest near Moscow, the Olympic champion on free-style wrestling Alexander Ivanitsky found dead. About it reports TASS.

About the disappearance of Ivanitsky said on 24 July. 82-year-old former athlete, who lived in the Ruza district near Moscow, came out of the house and never returned. Relatives Ivanitsky went to the police. It was assumed that the former athlete could drown in the river.

Ivanitsky — the Olympic champion of 1964 in freestyle wrestling in the weight category over 97 pounds. On account of his four victories at the world Championships (1962, 1963, 1965, 1966) and twice champion of the USSR (1964, 1965).

After finishing the sports career of the fighter was the head of sports editorial office of the TV channel RTR.
