The people’s militia self-proclaimed Donetsk national Republic (DND) has issued an order on ceasefire on July 27. The corresponding document was published on the official website of the Republic.
The order requires commanders to control the absence of provocation on the part of the personnel on the line of contact, and to inform on all cases of non-compliance with the truce. In addition, fall under the prohibition of the use of fire, sabotage and the placement of weapons in populated areas.
The contact group agreed on additional measures to ensure the truce in Donbas on July 22. DNR called the move a breakthrough. Moscow also reacted positively to the harmonization of measures. On 26 July, the chief of militia Denis Chinenkov full announced an indefinite ceasefire from 00:01 July 27.
The conflict in the Donbas began in 2014, part of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions declared independence. Ukraine accuses Russia of occupation of these territories. Moscow rejects the claim.
