In Kinel ‘ -Cherkasy municipal district of the Samara region declared a state of emergency (emergency) because of an outbreak of African swine fever. This was reported on the website of the regional emergency Department.
It is noted that the district killed three pigs. After examination it turned out that they were all sick with the plague. Rescuers also noted that the situation with the spread of disease is under the control of the Department.
African swine fever is characterized by high contagiousness. Among the symptoms have fever, cyanosis of the skin and internal bleeding. For humans, this disease is not dangerous.
Previously, the CPS described the situation with the bubonic plague in Russia. According to the Agency, in 2020 the country has not recorded any case of the virus. The last case of the disease was identified in 2016 in the Altai region.
