Kadyrov has considered himself worthy of the Nobel prize

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, said that he considers himself worthy of a Nobel prize for combating terrorism in the region. This opinion was expressed on air of TV channel “Russia 1”, writes “Interfax”.

He noted that succeeded in the fight against international terrorism, unlike Americans. He added that at the same time, the US cannot defeat terrorism in the middle East. “And they, on the contrary, I was under the sanctions. Not fair!” — said Kadyrov.

According to the head of Chechnya, with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the region managed to restore order. “Live peacefully, develop. 1.5 million population lives quietly and feel at home. In Afghanistan, Libya every day killing people,” he said.

Previously Kadyrov stated desire of the Chechens to get into the US sanctions list against it has introduced restrictive measures. He stressed that neither he himself nor any other of the Chechens cannot be intimidated by sanctions.

On 20 July the US state Department has made Kadyrov, his wife and two daughters in the black list. Chechen leader accused of human rights violations in the Republic: according to Secretary Mike Pompeo, he used the pandemic COVID-19 to justify their illegal actions. Kadyrov responded with a picture of a machine gun and called the employees of the state Department weaklings.
