A pack of baboons, armed with knives, screwdrivers, chain saws, and other objects, wanders the English Safari Park Prescot Merseyside County. This publication reports the Metro.
The Park staff said that I noticed a group of baboons who carry a variety of items. Some suspect that the monkeys for the fun of armed visitors in the hope that animals will damage the cars of others. Others suggest that baboons took the tools from the boxes the workers who came to their aviary.
Baboons surrounded the visitors on the territory of the Safari Park the cars and in some cases tore off the windshield wipers and side mirrors. A mechanic from a nearby shop said: “this year I have had two clients who were victims of these baboons. Children are happy clinging to car monkeys, and then the parents go home without license plates”.
A Park spokesperson said that the armed monkeys could be urban legend: “We believe that many of these stories are exaggerated. They embellish when telling each other to do more exciting and incredible.”
Earlier it was reported that in the Indian city of Matheran wild monkeys shook the wall of a house and killed the mother and four children. Animals were attracted to the guava tree that grew in the yard.
