Microsoft announced the system requirements for the next Windows upgrade. It is reported by MyDrivers, with reference to specialists.
The message lists the processors that will support a new version of Windows 10. The operating system can be installed on computers that have Intel-based 10th-generation Intel Core i3, i5, i7 and i9, Intel Xeon series E-22, Intel Atom, Celeron and Pentium. Also Windows can be deployed on a PC based on AMD chips of the seventh generation, including the line Athlon, Ryzen, Opteron, EPYC.
In the disclosed system requirements it is reported that the new version of the operating system will be optimized to run on portable devices. In particular, declared support of processor Qualcomm Snapdragon 850 and 8cx.
Global OS update is expected in October or November. The system update will be called Windows 10 20H2.
