Russian tourists on the background of the pandemic coronavirus ceased to plan a vacation with the future in sight — the tour operators have noted a decline in demand for long reservation. This was reported on the portal of the Association of tour operators of Russia.
So, the majority of sales come from the races in the next date. It is expected that this trend may be associated with the uncertainty of Russians in future plans due to the outbreak of COVID-19 and the possible re-closing of the resorts.
“Many tourists have already invested in tickets and hotels and don’t want to be back with deposits on hand”, — says the head of travel company “Dolphin” Sergey Romashkin. According to him, travelers who intend to relax in September, I know that I will be able to buy a ticket “get to the point” and assess all possible risks.
On 22 July it was reported that the government will return to Russians of the money spent on holidays within the country. The amount of the refund tourists will be from 5 to 15 thousand rubles, depending on the round.
