The Russians reminded about the risk of Contracting parasites from fish. This is stated in the message published on the website of Rospotrebnadzor.
“Remember that fish and fish products can be contaminated with parasites. The most common are the opisthorchiasis, and clonorchiasis, diphyllobothriasis and anisakiasis”, — stated in the message. In some cases, the disease can lead to disability and death.
In particular, infection with opisthorchiasis happens by eating carp, of IDE, roach, Rudd and other fish species in neoassyrian form. “The precautions are simple: boil the fish for 15 minutes after boiling; fry in flattened form and be sure to oil up to 20 minutes; salting: small fish within 14 days, the large (over 25 inches.) during the 40 days with the addition of two pounds of salt 10 pounds of fish” — told the Agency.
Previously on dangerous parasites in fish experts warn of Roskoshestvo. According to experts, the larvae of nematodes, causing anisakis can be present in 20 families of commercial marine fishes, including, in mackerel, tuna, pink salmon, sea perch and also squid, octopus and shrimp.
