Places of a congestion of tourists in Russian resort city of Sochi will provide free access to Wi-Fi. This was reported TASS the head of the city Evgeny Moiseev.
According to him, free Internet appears in the Cascading staircase, the Spa Park, ferrum-area and the Resort lake. The total area coverage will be more than 15 hectares. “Sustainable relationship necessary for the convenience and mobility of citizens and guests of our resort,” explained Moses.
He added that also in the lower part of the Resort Park soon will be ready a new navigation system which will help tourists to better navigate.
In early June it was reported that Sochi became the first Russian resort city. It was noted that local services began to use smart technologies based on digital platforms “Smart city”.
The project “Smart city” is realized in Russia, including in the framework of the national project “Digital economy”. Only the implementation of the national project it is planned to allocate more than 1.8 trillion rubles. In particular, it implies an increase of internal costs for the development of the digital economy at the expense of all sources, the creation of sustainable and secure information and telecommunications infrastructure for high speed transmission, processing and storage of large amounts of data, as well as the transfer of government agencies and organizations to use mainly software developed in Russia.
