YouTube blocked the account of the online channel “Tsargrad”, belonging to the Orthodox oligarch Konstantin Malofeev. On the website of the broadcaster indicated that the host did not explain the reasons for the incident.
According to representatives of “Constantinople”, a lock occurred on the night of July 28. In the editorial stressed that it had not previously received no warnings or notices or “strikes” (a warning from YouTube about the violation of the rules).
When you try to go to the channel page on YouTube, the service shows that “this page is unavailable”. Trying to watch any video previously posted on the channel, also ends with the error message. YouTube informs that the video is not available because the associated account has been deleted.
Chief editor of “Constantinople” Darya Tokarev announced the intention to sue in connection with the illegal actions of YouTube. “The administration of the service and now does not explain the reason for blocking. With us just not communicating, so the conflict we are planning to solve in court,” she said.
The channel began broadcasting in 2015. “Tsar” positions itself as “the first conservative Russian information-analytical channel”. Editorial policy involves the support of traditional values.
