The ban on holding mass events will act in Moscow at least until the end of August. This period was named the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin at the meeting on the situation with coronavirus, video which was broadcasted on YouTube.
“We probably won’t open the permission for mass events, at least in the next month. Let’s see how further the situation will develop”, — said the mayor.
Earlier, Sobyanin said that to impose new restrictions because of coronavirus in the capital is not planned. He dispelled the rumours and said that at the moment in Moscow “quite calm” the situation, therefore, the authorities will decide according to circumstances question with the introduction of new quarantine measures.
In July Sobyanin has canceled almost all remaining restrictions in Moscow, with the exception of mask of the regime and the prohibition of public events. So, from July 13 began work camps, entertainment centres, rides, sections and circles. Re-enabled any services, discos and parties with a workload of not more than 50 percent. August 1 will see the opening of cinemas, theatres and concert halls under the condition at 50% load.
As of July 29, in Russia in days fixed 5475 new cases of infection with coronavirus in 84 regions. Most new cases were recorded in Moscow (671) and Sverdlovsk region (223). Less — in the Nenets Autonomous district (3) and Sevastopol (3). Per day was 169 deaths, recovered 8116 people.
