The Kremlin did not know that the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko has been infected with a coronavirus, said press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov. It was quoted by RIA Novosti on Wednesday, July 29.
Peskov added that anyone who has had contact with the Belarusian leader, “alive and well”. President Vladimir Putin continues to be tested, said the spokesman.
The day before, commenting on the news of the infection of coronavirus of the President of Belarus, Peskov said that the head of state is healthy and continues to work.
On 28 July it became known that Lukashenko asymptomatic suffered a coronavirus.
Putin and Lukashenko last met on 30 June at the opening of the Rzhev memorial of the Soviet soldier, and before that on June 24 at the Victory parade in Moscow.
