The Belarusian authorities made a restriction of Internet in the country after the arrest of 33 fighters of the PMC Wagner. This was announced by presidential candidate Andrei Dmitriev, reports “Nasha Niva”.
He told how went to the CEC meeting of candidates with Secretary of the security Council Andrei Ravkov. So, Ravkov said that the militants arrived in Belarus to “make a revolution” and threaten “security of mass events”.
According to Dmitriev, he asked, is it possible to disable the Internet on August 9, the day of presidential elections. Ravkov said that if there is danger, then it is possible complete shutdown of the Internet.
Another presidential candidate Sergey Cerecer said that, according to the security Council, Belarus can arrive from Russia “group for provocations”.
