The new two-lane highway P-215 Astrakhan — Kochubey — Kizlyar — Makhachkala enter in operation in December this year. This is stated in the message published on the website of the portal “the Future of Russia. National projects”.
To date, completed the construction of the second track on the section from the border of the Republic of Kalmykia and Astrakhan region to the village of Artezian. The total road length is 94 km.
Road to R-215 Astrakhan — Makhachkala is part of the international transport corridor “North — South”. The route connects the Republic of Kalmykia and Dagestan commercial sea port near the village of Olga Limansky district of the Astrakhan region. The object is realized in the framework of the project “a Comprehensive plan for the modernization and expansion of trunk infrastructure”.
Russia plans to implement 13 national projects: “Health”, “Education”, “Demography”, “Culture”, “Safe and quality roads”, “Housing and the urban environment”, “Ecology”, “Science”, “Small and medium entrepreneurship and support entrepreneurial initiative,” “labor Productivity and employment support, international cooperation and exports”, “Complex plan of modernization and expansion of trunk infrastructure”. By decree of President Vladimir Putin, deadlines extended from 2024 to 2030.
For their implementation it is planned to spend about 26 trillion rubles.
