Investigators have interviewed eyewitnesses to the Nazi murders of Stalingrad

When investigating facts of mass killings of the civilian population of Stalingrad (Volgograd) region in the great Patriotic war were interrogated witnesses of those events. On Friday, July 31, according to the website of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).

After the discovery of mass graves of Stalingrad and refugees killed by the Nazis, employees of SKR interviewed 93-year-old resident of the village Peregrebnoe (Oktyabrsky district). The woman said that as a teenager she lived in occupied territory and saw how the Nazis forced imprisoned Jewish people in the car.

Later, local residents found the bodies of the executed in kilometer from the village. Already extracted the remains of the bodies of the thirteen victims, including children and infants.

The experts found that their death is criminal in nature, evidenced by the bullet damage. A criminal case under article 357 of the criminal code (“Genocide”).
