Muscovites gathered to oust labour migrants

Half of Moscow residents believe that maintaining the economy, the influx of migrants is not needed, and only eight percent said that foreign workers help to support the economy. Also, 43% of citizens believe that migrants increase the competition for jobs.

The head of state pointed out that soon the country will be short of workers. “Russia needs an influx of new citizens,” he said. Meanwhile, Putin said that the country is interested in the influx of carriers of the Russian language and culture.
