Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on tax maneuver in the IT industry. The document published on the official portal of legal information.
It involves the indefinite reduction of profit tax for IT companies with 20 to 3 percent. The premiums are reduced from 14 to 7.6 percent. The new tax rates intended for businesses, which 90 percent of revenues come from the sale of software (SOFTWARE) and services development and implementation. The new rules will come into force from 2021.
The document also rolls over to zero VAT on sale at. Now the exemption will only apply to companies which are included in a special register of software producers.
The idea of a tax maneuver in Russia in the IT sector Vladimir Putin announced in June during his address to the Russians. He noted that the Russian tax rate in this case will be one of the best in the world and lower than in these attractive jurisdictions for IT, as India and Ireland.
