The head of the ultimate fighting championship (UFC), Dana white expressed his opinion about the prospects of the Swedish fighter of the mixed style (MMA) Khamzat Chimaeva and made his readiness for a title fight. His words reports ESPN’s MMA.
White admitted that he is delighted with the rookie promotion. “We left him in the cage with one of the most promising fighters from the UK. Serious guy. But in the fight with Chimaeva he looked as if he has no place in the UFC,” said he.
Moreover, white admitted that Chimaev, which became known as the New Habib, able to fight for the title in a fight with the current Welterweight champion — Camara Usman. “Is he ready to Usman? Judging by the way he acts, why not,” concluded white.
