Governor of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district Dmitry Artyukhov, which is the youngest regional head in Russia, became infected with the coronavirus. He said this in his Instagram on Friday, July 31.
“My yesterday’s test gave a positive result. In General, as normal, are in isolation at home,” — he wrote.
He promised to return to work after negative test results. “For example, was convinced that the coronavirus is near. Not relax, take care of yourself and be healthy!” — concluded the Governor.
July 28, Governor of the Chukotka Autonomous district Roman Kopin was hospitalized with suspected coronavirus. He later said that after contact with an infected a few days had a high temperature, however, analysis of COVID-19 were negative.
17 February Artuhova turned 32. Prior to his appointment, the acting head of the region in may 2018 the youngest head of the region was the Governor of the Kaliningrad region Anton Alikhanov, who is now 33 year. At the time of appointment acting head of the region in September 2016, he was 30 years old.
