As told the interlocutor of Agency, the maximum permissible concentration of mercury in the atmospheric air on the territory of the enterprise exceeded 367 times, benzene — 5.2 times. In addition, in the wastewater the level of oil exceeds the rate of three thousand times, iron — 190 times, copper — by 22 times, phosphates — five thousand times.
Earlier the President of Russia Vladimir Putin ordered to urgently isolate the industrial site of the chemical enterprises “Usoliekhimprom” in Usolie-Siberian Irkutsk region and provide its security forces with Regardie. At a meeting on the ecological situation in the region the head of state said that the burden of environmental problems accumulated for many years, from 30-ies of the last century. “In this area, worked for a major chemical company. And now the situation is such that the storage chemical wastes are in poor condition,” he said.
As later stated by the Director of the Center for political analysis and social studies Pavel Danilin, designated by the President of the environmental problems in Usole-Sibirskoe can be solved by connecting the resources of the Federal center, as in this case, “it will be solved in a fairly good, tight deadlines.”
