Russians rushed to look for tickets for the trip to Montenegro, which had announced the opening of the borders for citizens of Russia. This is evidenced by data of the analytical centre of service of travel and travel Tutu.ru that was available to the Agency “Moscow”.
So, the experts recorded a ninefold increase in the interest for tickets to Montenegro on 4 August compared to the previous day, despite the lack of official announcement on the resumption of direct air links with the country of the Balkan Peninsula. “A number of searches in this area came on average last year just a few hours”, — stated in the message.
However, according to the service, direct the tickets went on sale airlines, Montenegro Airlines (19 August), Aeroflot (from August 20) and “Ural airlines” (21 August). Minimum prices for tickets from Moscow to Tivat after August 21 is 10-11 thousand rubles one way. Thus their value has increased by 20-30 percent compared to last year, when the minimum ticket price starts from eight thousand rubles. It is noted that the price increase is partly explained by the growth rate of the Euro.
Montenegro announced the opening of its borders for Russians, 4 Aug. Nationals of Azerbaijan are allowed to enter the country without conditions — tests for the presence of COVID-19, and quarantine. At the same time, data on the resumption of direct flights between the countries yet to get to Montenegro from Russia with a stopover in Turkey.
Russia resumed international flights from August 1. At the first stage flights will be carried out only from Moscow, St. Petersburg and Rostov-on-don.
