Deputies from the liberal democratic party submitted to the State Duma a bill according to which non-Russians care for people with disabilities, may be entitled to monthly payments in the amount of ten thousand rubles. This was reported by one of the authors of the initiative, the head of the Duma Committee on labour and social policy Yaroslav Nilov in his Telegram channel.
According to the document, citizens who care for a disabled child, a disabled from childhood group I or a group I disability, the state will make monthly payments of ten thousand rubles with annual indexation. Deputies from LDPR emphasize that at this moment care for certain categories of disabled people already provided similar benefits, however their size is not indexed.
At the same time, parliamentarians noted that compensation payments for the care of the invalid of I group unacceptably low and account for only 1200 rubles.
It is envisaged that in the case of the adoption of the Federal law will enter into force on 1 January 2021.
Previously, the chamber acknowledged the program for the disabled in Russia, failure. Analysis of government commitments to improve the housing conditions of Russian disabled people showed that to date these commitments have not been met. The Department explained that the rate of state support for the improvement of living conditions is so low that it often happens that disabled people simply do not have time to exercise their right to housing.
