Russian and American writer Igor Efimov died at the age of 83 years. This was reported by his friend the publicist Evgeny Berkovich in Facebook.
According to him, Efimov recently sent him the manuscript of the last work. Berkovich added that the sketch of the cover and the layout of the book was already finished and sent to the writer for approval. “Was he supposed to say “Yes”, and the book would be ready. But Igor Markovich did not have time to see her,” said Berkowitz. He also promised that the book will be released.
Igor Efimov was a member of the writers ‘ Union and author of “Look who’s here!”, “The technician”, “to Overthrow every yoke,” “As one flesh”, “the Archives of the last judgment,” “the Seventh wife” (historical research on the murder of the 35th U.S. President John F. Kennedy) and others. In 2005 he published the memoirs of a writer “Nobel sponger” about Joseph Brodsky, and in 2006 — the novel “Wrong”.
In 1978 Efimov emigrated to the United States. Then it became clear that philosophy of “Practical metaphysics” and “Meta” were circulating in samizdat published in the West under the pseudonym Andrey Moskovit, was written.
