Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin said he will propose to Russian President Vladimir Putin to extend incentive payments to physicians who are struggling with a new coronavirus infection. About it reports TASS.
The corresponding statement Mishustin made during a visit to the regional oncological center in Magadan. The doctors thanked the Prime Minister for the support and asked to convey his gratitude to the President.
“This is, first and foremost, you need to say thank you to doctors and people who saved during a pandemic patients,” said the Prime Minister. At the moment, the incentive payments for the Russian medical workers who treated patients with the coronavirus, extended until the end of August. The source of funding is the government reserve Fund. The payment is extended until September 15 for social workers who are working for the prevention and combating coronavirus.
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the extension of payments for health-care workers in July and August, June 23. Doctors treating infected patients will receive 80 thousand rubles, paramedics and nurses — for 50 thousand rubles, nurses — 25 thousand rubles. Paramedics will receive 50 thousand rubles, and paramedics, nurses, drivers and crews — 25 thousand rubles.
